For Young Hearts, Finding Their Way

Welcome

Here you’ll find journaling guidance, stories, and illustrations that follow the paths we walk inside.

Through journaling, you can explore your inner world, grow in emotional awareness, build confidence, and deepen your self-understanding.

You are invited to notice what you’re feeling, think more clearly, and move through life’s ups and downs with courage and kindness.

Hi, I’m Hannah

Journaling Guide, Author, & Illustrator

My work blends journaling, storytelling, and illustration to support inner clarity, balance, and joy.

Alongside the resources here, I offer journaling guidance for children in schools, as well as a small number of 1:1 sessions for young people aged 12–14 who would benefit from deeper support.

  • For those who feel deeply, or carry more inside than they show.

  • For those navigating change, strong feelings, identity, loss, pressure, and growth.

  • For those standing at a new beginning, learning who they are and who they are not.

  • For those who want to understand themselves more clearly, and meet life with courage and kindness.

  • For those walking beside a young person as they find their way.

Who is this for?

Journaling has many benefits, it can help you

  • Trust your inner voice — by learning to recognise what feels true for you.

  • Find balance — by understanding your thoughts, energy, and emotions.

  • Build confidence — by learning your strengths and how you move through the world.

  • Reconnect — by paying attention to your feelings and the depth within ordinary days.

Over time, journaling can help

Where to begin

Start by finding a notebook and a pen. Any notebook will do. It doesn’t matter what it looks like on the outside.

Choose a pen that feels comfortable in your hand, with ink that flows easily across the page.

From there, you can explore the different paths found here.

Journal, your way

There is no right way to journal.

I’ve created a few free resources to support you as you begin, or as you deepen your practice.

These include my guided booklet — Journal, Your Way — designed to help you explore different styles and discover what works best for you.

Available to download and return to whenever you need it.
