Gratitude Journal
(noticing the positives, cultivating thankfulness)
A gratitude journal is all about noticing the good things in your life—big or small—and writing them down.
By taking time each day to write about what you’re thankful for, you train your brain to focus on the positives instead of the negatives.
Journaling Prompts:
What are three little things that made you happy today?
Who are you really thankful for right now, and why?
Write about a tricky situation that taught you something important.
What part of your body or health are you grateful for today?
Name a place (big or small) that makes you feel safe, calm, or happy.
Think of a memory that always makes you smile—what happened?
What small, everyday thing makes your life easier or nicer?
Who helped or cheered you up today, and how?
What skill, talent, or strength do you like about yourself?
What part of nature makes you feel amazed, peaceful, or happy?
Write about something you’re excited about for the future.
What is one thing about yourself that you really like or appreciate?
